From a weight loss/healthy living perspective, I had a wonderful year. Usually I start the year at around 152/153 lbs and finish maybe 1 or 2 lbs lighter. I'll have lost around 5 or 6 lbs during the year but they will have all gone back on in December.
This year is different. This year, I went back to Weight Watchers in October, having already lost about 7 lbs, and lost 3 lbs before all the parties etc started in December. I then put it all back on at my last weigh in at WW 2 weeks before Christmas. I weighed myself this morning (official WW weigh in is Thursday) and I have lost weight in the past 2 weeks to take my weight loss for the year down to 9 lbs! Woo Hoo!
I have also lost inches:
Belly (where my hip bones are, you know the podgy, muffin top bit): 1.75"
Hips (my bottom): 1"
Total inches lost in 2013: 6.25"
Here's to a wonderful 2014 when I will, finally, get back to within 5 lbs of my WW goal weight and re-gain my Gold Membership. Only 4 lbs to go :o)
