2014 here i come

So 2013 was awesome I reached goal and have pretty much stuck in the 130 but 2014 is time for me to take charge and to be in control of one person me. So I my new goals for the year are to lose 22 pounds by July. so my monthly goals for January are as follows

1. track what I eat everday

2. Eat three meals aday and two snacks

3. cut diet soda done from six cans aday a bad habit I thought I had kicked but haven't to three cans aday.

4. walk everyday

5. add ST once a week.

those are my goals I can do this. Thank you to all my Sparkfriends for being their for me and the support I can't wait to get this new year started. lets kick butt and take names in 2014.

    I'm struggling with the diet soda addiction too. I've decided to work on one addiction at a time, so I started with unhealthy food although I've been cutting back.

    Good goals.
But. How about cutting the diet soda TOTALLY?
This may sound strange NOW, but...
Switching to less sugary-tasting healthy options - including water with a splash of fresh fruit - can help you enjoy the flavor of healthy foods. Just a thought. ;)

    Julie, you will do it! I am so proud of your progress. I also redid my eating and fitness plans and am focusing on hunger levels and journaling. I'm not making drastic changes, just continuing on, since I'm a little over the halfway point.

    Good list. If you're having trouble stopping diet pop, google artificial sweeteners and see how detrimental they are to our health. You might try adding lemon or other fruit to sparkling water.
