I don't make resolutions, but I do make New Year's Goals for myself. This year's goals are as follows:
1. Lose 20 pounds. I have made several changes recently that if I start implementing them on a consistent basis, should make the scale move.
2. Run a 10K under 1 hour. The best I have done is 1 hour 6 minutes. I have been following a 10K training program to improve my time and have a 10K scheduled for this Spring in NYC.
3. Save $5,000. I was going to buy a new car this spring, but I think I might put that off for another year. I will feel a lot better with a few more bucks put away for that purpose.
I am not sure if it is good or bad but I won't be upset if I don't exactly reach any of these goals, as long as I have made progress and been consistent in my effort, I am happy.
