End of the Year Goal Check--2013

I sat down at the first of the year and tried to write some realistic goals for 2013 (both weight related and non-scale goals). They were nothing earth shattering, but small steps toward a better life. I would like to say that I accomplished all my goals, but I am human and allowed health issues and excuses to get in the way of what I wanted out of life.
So...here is how I would rate my progress for the year:

To exercise at least 3x a week---2 emoticon most of this year health issues kept me from exercise of any kind. Looking forward to turning this around in 2014.

To drink at least 4 glasses of water a day---4 emoticon This one has always been a struggle, but I am still working on it.

To lose at least 20 lbs (from 196 to 176)---0 emoticon I seriously went in the wrong direction this year...up to 205.

To read through the Bible in a year--- 4 emoticon started out strong and dwindled off as usual...but, small progress is better than none.

To write at least 5 new songs---0 emoticon Zero songs for this year. My heart just wasn't in it...

To write at least 5 new poems---10 emoticon Exceeded my goal. Wrote over a dozen poems and even had one published!

To write at least 5 short stories---1 emoticon Wrote a children's book, but nothing else.

To get A's in all my classes this year---10 emoticon All A's in spring, summer, and fall classes!! One more semester to go...

To keep my home more clean---4 emoticon Most of the time I have not been proud of the way my house looked this year...it has had some "shining" moments and some "wow, what happened in here" moments. Hopefully since I've had my surgery, I will have more energy for housework in 2014.

To do something every week to de-junk my home/life/etc --5 emoticon I am actually okay with this one. I did something nearly every month to de-junk my home (not every week). I have been more aware of the clutter and made conscious efforts to remove it from my home. Small steps, but they feel good.

While the numbers aren't very impressive, overall, I feel good about the progress I've made considering what I was up against this year. Time to think about 2014 goals. Who's with me?
