Active Rest Day 21:
Active Challenge: Sit on an exercise ball for at least 5-10 minutes. Do this at least three times today.
Exercise Challenge: Part one: Do at least 20 minutes of low-medium intensity cardio exercise. NO
Part two: Perform 2-3 sets of 12-14 reps of the suggested upper body exercises or other moves from the Upper Body Progression Workout.
Flexibility Challenge: Perform the stretches detailed in the Lower Body Stretching Workout after your strength and cardio workout.
Nutritional Challenge: Junk food makeover. Choose at least one of your favorite junk foods and find a healthier substitute that still leaves you satisfied.
YES (Yesterday I bought soy milk instead of ice cream)
Mind/Body Challenge: Choose one chore you've been putting off and spend 5-10 minutes doing it.
YES (cleaned out my handbag, you wouldn't imagine how much unwanted stuff inside the bag, lol)
Record your workouts and meals in your journal
Note: Well, I did every other challenge yesterday except my workout which I did this morning. I felt proud after.
I started tracking my meals on SP yesterday, I added two extra meals making 6 meals in a day. I am still able to control what I eat at each meal to be sure all am doing is spreading my meals and not eating more than normal.
I will be blogging about Day 22 tonight except the workout part (I might do it still).
