I just restarted body revolution as I wanted to lose the last few pounds I have to lose to be at a weight I want to be. I also don't want to gain a lot of weight from all the holiday eating I did! I started with my husband as well, he has some health issues and needs to lose about 20 pounds. We also are going to have to start eating even more healthy this new year. My husband's doctor told him he needs to start a vegan diet. So it looks like I have to learn to cook vegan food now! We eat at home almost 100% of the time, with home cooked meals. But I suppose there is always room for improvement. Now I have to figure out a new way of thinking and looking at food. At least a vegan diet should also help me lose weight too.

We watched the show Forks over Knifes on Netflix, and looked into the China Study which is what Forks over Knifes was based on. I think this will be an interesting challenge to see if we can change to being more vegan. I'm thinking we may still have to have chicken and fish every once in awhile. And I don't know if I can give up my greek yogurt, I love it too much! I can give up milk since I pretty much already do that, I drink a lot of almond, coconut, and soy milks. I also have to get my kids on board! Wish me luck!

    Sounds like you have a very positive attitude about all the changes, good for you. I think mental is half the battle. I found a wonderful recipe on sparkrecipes for lentil chili in a crockpot with black beans and sweet potato. It was delicious! It is worth checking out. I think it called for chicken broth but I used veggie broth and it was great. Good luck!
