My last email is from December 25th-How weird.

Friday, December 27, 2013

Everything else is up to date but my spark people are all coming in from Hotmail. I have had no e-mails from that account. I keep trying to find them. The weird thing is I get announcements they are there usually but there are no announcements since then.
When I go to my page I find the post from the missing e-mails.
I kind of knew this was too good to be true because I had it working great and now I must have locked something out. Now I will have to call the son who bought it for me. I actually love he did that for me.

He is a bachelor who I rarely hear from but since he bought the computer we talk more often and I love it. I will chat with him tomorrow and I hope he can fix it.

Today was a better day DH got to use the new snow blower but it is still hard going since the ice beneath is so thick. I asked about chains for it and they said we don't need them but I see those wheels spinning I guess I must have a chat with the dealers again.

This morning DH went out to get an oil change. The car had not been used so he wanted to heat up the oil, he drove to the post office and on to the garage.

I had run out of storage boxes in the freezer. So I had to empty them out of the containers an d the frozen contents get vacuum packe3d so I can use the container again. Since all the containers are identical it saves a lot of room in the freezer. I was able to get 16 containers washed and filled with chicken soup. I ended up completely emptying the freezer and re-packing it. Today was not the day to defrost it though. That will have to wait till the Spring just in case we lose power that ice will help keep it cold.

Thanks for reading I must try to find those e-mails. Pat in Maine.

I hope your son can help you with your problem. I seem to always have something wrong with mine.

We went shopping today. The roads were very busy with people returning from Christmas vacation.

Hi Pat! So glad that you have not lost power. There are still so many without it and it's so cold. I can't believe it was in the 40's today and I worked in the yard. Sad thing is, I lost my spark tracker. My son helped me look for it but trying to find that little thing in all those leaves and we followed everywhere I had walked. I just ordered another since I already feel lost without it.

I will be making turkey soup during the week. I love to pile it with veggies!

Stay safe and warm. Hope you find your spark emails...

hugs....Mary Anne

Your blogs are coming through to me every time so I hope your son gets your 'fluke' fixed so you can read them.

Our weather continues to be very mild, just a little colder yesterday and rain late in the day. I went over to the Factory Outlet Stores yesterday and returned a sweater to Christopher & Banks because the zipper didn't work smoothly. I ended up getting a beautiful top and pair of jeans after seeing that they carry the Petite sizes. They signed me up for the customer rewards card and will be sending me coupons and sale flyers. They have really good sales so I am happy I went there. My friend Sam gave me the sweater. I had mentioned I wanted a crew neck sweater but she couldn't find one there so bought a cardigan instead. Anyway I have some T tops she bought me there last summer and they are good quality and fit well.

I have a small 3.5 cubic foot chest freezer that I keep stocked with healthy meals for me. Living in a 550 sq ft apartment , I have to be creative with my furnishings. In order to keep the freezer, I had to sell my table. We have a dining room downstairs for when I want to eat at a table with others. Sitting alone at a table, for me, is too depressing anyway.

Have a good day and tell Fred to be careful with that snowblower.

Pat, I too have a bachelor son and don't hear from him as often as I would like. I do love it when he calls. Good thinking on that freezer. HUGS, Terry

((((HUGS))))) Pat. Hoping that you continue to have power. Just saw an Emergency Manager from somewhere in ME saying that there are still lots without power. **SIGH**

Stay warm, stay safe.

Way to go on that freezer food, my friend! I am in the process of emptying mine so I can begin to fill it back up with goodies! I WILL defrost mine, though. The frost builds up much too quickly otherwise.

I hope DS can figure out the email connection
for you. It's good that you get to talk to him
more now. Sounds like there's still a lot of ice
out there. Just be careful. Stay safe and warm.
