I can't seem to get moving in the mornings. Cooper doesn't seem to mind, so I am trying not to stress over it, but it feels like I am wasting half the day. I have never been a morning person, but this is getting ridiculous. I still walk the dog 3 times a day, and exercise without him as well, but I don't get much else accomplished during the day. I end up doing my cooking and cleaning at night. Once I get into a pattern it is difficult to break. I feel like I need some kind of jolt to get me (and Cooper) moving earlier in the morning.
I got on my rower today for the first time in a long while. I have been using the elliptical more often, but my brother and I were discussing the next paddling season, and it sank in that I need to use the rower more, so I am in decent condition for the start of kayaking season. I am going to miss most of July due to travel plans, but there is still May and June before we leave. (Maybe even some of April?)
