I have decided to try the Atkins diet. I've heard so many people talk about how much weight they lost and I have heard all the hype. I'm not sure if I will jump on the bandwagon to eat their branded shakes and bars. I have found a deal on them, but I don't tolerate fake sweetners very well, especially if I can taste them. I did receive 3 samples of the bars, so I tried one this morning and so far, so good. I didn't taste the sweetner and I don't have a headache yet. I am going to test out the shakes, but those I might have to stay away from.
My goal is to start the diet on January 5th and the first stage will last for 2 weeks. They do recommend that you don't work out for that initial stage because your body is getting used to the change in diet and most people are very tired. This is good because then if I feel like walking, I will. If I don't, that's ok too. Then I can start incorporating riding the bike and walking starting the following week. I'm not entirely sure what program I will be doing once I do start incorporating physical activity on a regular basis. I plan to play it by ear!
