I have a confession. I am a planner. I plan out lots of things - where to vacation, how far to drive each day, what to wear for the entire week, our weekly food menu and what I need to purchase. Yes I am a planner and not much gets past me. But this week I noticed something about myself that I think SparkPeople had a hand in. I've discovered that I eat mostly vegetables and fish now. I was the one who loved a good rare burger on a hot summer day. Medium rare steak on the grill - oh my - would get my pulse just racing with anticipation. But now I'm pretty much just a fish kind of gal. When did that happen? My eyes get misty thinking about grilled salmon now. Baked catfish takes my breathe away (in a good way). Yes, I've been converted and I've never been happier. Zucchini, kale, spinach are all my good friends now and we eat together every day. Sometimes I'll invite a tomato along just for fun and colorful talk at the dinner table. Oh you sneaky people at SP, turning my life around so I become healthier and happier. How dare you train me so when I miss a day of exercise I go stir crazy and am willing to do anything to get outside and walk, walk, walk my troubles away. All I can say is - Thank you. Very much.
