Live like there is no tomorrow

Friday, December 27, 2013

" Breathe . Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure." Oprah Winfrey

We never know how long we are here . Our lives are constantly evolving . Our lives can go from great to hell in a manner of seconds.

If we want to stay here as long as we can and have fun while we are here we need to prepare.

We have to get up off the couch and really live. Do as many of the things you love every day. It is best to really enjoy things that don't cost money that can enrich our lives.
Taking a 45 minute walk in nature does as much or more for you and your soul then a workout in the most expensive gym in the country. A 30 cent apple is so much better for you than a 13 dollar steak. Sitting in silence and meditating is far better than watching a huge 60 inch high definition screen television. A good long soak in a tub does more for your soul than sitting in a hot tub with a bunch of people you don't know.

Laugh often, move your body , eat healthy foods and drink good clean water most times. Enjoy sleeping . Do it a lot. It is good for weight loss and body repair . It will also regulate your hormones. Spend time with loved ones. They will love it more than cash or toys.
We have only today to have the best today that ever was.

This is so true Joanne! Thanks for spreading the word. If only people really enjoyed each moment and lived in the present. We don't know what tomorrow will bring but we have right now. Enjoy the people around us and cherish those that we love!

This is an excellent reminder. We too often think thee only path to hapiness must be purchased with m0ney and material things. True hapiness lies within us.

Thanks for the reminder!

This is so appropriate, Joanne. My DD2 went off on her travels with a 34 year old school friend, also a globetrotter like DD2, and in the very early hours on Christmas morning I got a heart-stopping phone call from DD2 that her friend didn't feel well and 'she's dead, Ma!'

She was so vibrant, believed that the 75 summers we are given should be lived to the fullest, and she is no more

So, yes, 2014 is going to be my year of "Live like there is no tomorrow!"

Hugs
