Another Challenge Met!

Friday, December 27, 2013

This AM I headed back to the gym after taking a few days off to visit family in PA. I had a wonderful holiday! I was sad to leave my family and for the first time in ten years I was not stressed out one bit while we were visiting. I did not worry about how much I was eating, how little I was eating, how much I was working out, missing workouts, or whether or not my mom was going to drive me nuts. For the first time in a very long time, I was so happy to be around everyone. I enjoyed all the foods that were made for our feasts:) Yes, we had more than one!

Today as I headed back to the gym at 5AM, yes I stick with my routine even when school is not in session, I was ready for whatever our trainer had prepared for us. The workout was not that difficult. I did my usual spin warm up and then headed in to our workout room. After class I decided to walk it out on the treadmill as I usually do when I have extra time. I hate the days that I have to rush...which is most days during the week. I then had a crazy idea....I am going to run on the treadmill. There was no one else around so if I fell I wouldn't look too silly:) I quickened my pace and before I knew it, I was running:) I have a fear of running on the treadmill. I am so afraid on falling off or sliding back. Nope, it was easy once I got the hang of it:) Can't wait to do it again!

There are only a few days left to 2013. How will you end this amazing year?
*More treadmill running for me
*21 Day Sugar Detox eating plan
*Heavy lifting once more to see if I can set any more PRs:)

2441.80 miles for the year!
