Just a relaxed day. I went to the old house with dog. DD was up and played with dog. Ever since we watched The Grinch, she kept saying the dog looked like Max the dog in the movie. Not just like him, but he has the same downtrodden expression. Now dog has a name - MAX.
DS is still not pleased. Max jumped against a window screen at the cat; so I put him the dog pen for little while. Max is very smart - just a little scared - and DD thinks he could be trained easily just by working with him a lot.
DD stayed with Mom while DS, DH and I went to see the new Hobbit movie and stayed out too late. Best or all my fitbit came in and I can quit slacking off and get after it. You know, any old excuse in a storm.
One of my favorite passages which show that God keeps His promises...
Luke 2:27-33 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said,
“Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace,
according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation
that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.”
And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him.
God bless us with eyes to see the light of Your salvation.
