I woke early with yet another headache. I am taking the Chinese herbal tea and it does seem to help. But it still comes back.
My eyes are doing better but I had hope the headaches would go away.
Today I finished more rice bags, sewing always makes me feel better but today it was not as easy.
I finished the bigger rice bags that go from my neck to the bottom of my spine. It is the longest one. I had made a narrow one and this is wider and it was very comfortable.
I went to bed after lunch. Took ibuprofen and slept for four hours.
I called my DIL and she has been to the Dr and the other nurse will check her tomorrow.
She sent DH and I a gift but the Post office sent it back to Plattsburgh-Returned to sender--Address unknown.
That takes me back a bit when re -read the expression.
I was asked to go to Florida for a funeral and to help my friend get over her loss. There is no way to leave our house never mind drive to the airport. I know my friend understands but it is still a stress.
DH and I have appointments to check on eye issues an d since I am still using steroids I really hope I can get to our appointments. I hope they are helping my eyes I feel sure they are the cause of my headaches.
DH is hoping to use the new snow blower for the first time but we think snow over ice might not be a good idea. He has good boots but the cleat's do not fit over the thick boot sole.
Tomorrow will be another day. I still hear generators. So there are people out there with no power. I just looked outside and alas the other streets are still in darkness.
The line crews are working long hours and the road crews are out moving tree limbs off lines.
All of our utilities are above ground and we have millions of trees here in Maine. Sometimes the weight of the ice and snow breaks the lines. Most often the trees are covered in heavy ice. If the ice starts at the top it falls on frozen limbs and often the end result is it still hits the lines below.
Every year the crews prune back the trees but the higher the trees the easier the ice chutes take down line repeatedly.
It looks very beautiful.
A forest of glass trees . Pat in Maine.
