Too much food over the holiday makes you lethargic

So today was my first full day of getting myself back to it. Boxing day 26th was supposed to be the day but had a sick child throwing up everywhere so couldn't really leave him to go and do things.

Got up at 7.30am this morning and by 7.45 hubby and I were out the door with the dog. We went for a 45 minute walk and it was great and got me all fired up.

Got home and had breakfast and then went on SP to check everyone out and read some articles and I was rearing to go on our bedroom. We dusted we put away I vacuumed and cleaned the windows and the bathroom and the walk in wardrobe.

After that which was about 11am we got the kids up (yep lazy sods but aren't usually just been a long couple of days) and convinced them to go for a bike ride as a family. WHAT on EARTH was I thinking. 14 & 12 yr old boys and a hubby and Me... hmmm 307 lbs of me on a bike. I enjoyed it after it was finished but going up hills and walk over bridges and puffing like I was dying wasn't exactly thrilling for me.

We took the boys out for lunch half way through it and then headed home. So that was about 1 hour of biking and 1/2 an hour of lunch and chatting.

I have sore sore thighs and arms from tensing up so much and my hair was soaking wet when I got back. So I got a lot of exercise today.

Got back and hubby said now you have earned (lol he is being nice) to do what ever you want to do. I wanted to sit and read my book I brought for my kindle "The Bat by Jo Nesbo" but got in my chair to read it with my feet up and I started to fall asleep. I didn't want to fall asleep or tonight would be hard for me to get some sleep.

Youngest son asked if I would take him out on my bike 50cc bike
around the neighbourhood and so we went for a tour around. It is a great bike on a summer day as it cooled us down.

Now sitting on my computer tracking my food and exercise and chilling out.

I love holidays.... love when I have nothing planned and we can do whatever we want.

Tomorrow we are getting up early to walk the dog and then off to the beach for the day. Dropping my mum and her friend off at the shops where we are going while we go to the beach. The drive is about 1 1/2 hours and it is lovely out in the country side. The beach I can imagine is going to be so busy. SIGH.... don't like being big on a beach, but I need to get over myself and forget about what everyone else thinks.

Great day today but not sure I can manage that much exercise every day at the moment.

I can't wait until we start our personal training next year. I have contacted my ex personal trainer but she is on holiday at the moment so lets hope we can get started when she comes back.

I can do this.... I surely can

Love the beach. We are hoping to head to Florida this summer and I'm hoping I can knock this weight off before then.
