The Lost Days Of December

Thursday, December 26, 2013

It seems like I've lost so many days this month, what with the Holidays and hubby's surgery. I've just spent 6 days at home with him and all we did was set around watching TV. Wait...let me restate that...I mostly sat around watching TV. I also cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 6 days. Not something I'm used to doing. And running out each day to get Starbucks for us. I did get some house work done and the laundry last Sunday. Other then that..it seemed every time I decide to get up and do SOMETHING...hubby needed this or that. And of course with not doing anything but setting around the house watching TV...I ate. And ate. And ate some more! So I'm WAY up in the weight dept. And so lacking in the workout dept. emoticon My own fault I guess. I just feel so disgusted with myself!

So today...I'm back at work. And while eating hasn't been the best (I didn't know the Albertson blueberry muffin had so many calories!), it's been better then the last 6 days! I'm not working out today or tomorrow here at work. I'll get back to that next week. But I do want to try to do something at home tonight..hubby permitting of course (as in he goes to bed early!)! emoticon

Christmas was quiet. Hubby got me the Nike+ Training game for my Xbox (that's all I could think of for him to get me). I got him some jammie pants to sleep in (he got his BIG gift in Nov when I bought him his tablet). We got some candy from a friend at the base. I made a prime Rib for dinner (we also had mashed taters and rolls). Then just being sure hubby was comfortable and stuff. emoticon

Like I said...I'm back at work today and I was happy to get here..right up until I had to deal with the same person and his BS that I was having problems with before I left last week. Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy. emoticon

We Skyped with the kids on Monday night, and got to watch the grandkids open the gifts we got them. They were so thrilled with the tablets! Caleb and Tucker were fist pumping in the air and Malia was scream that she had her own tablet now. It was so good to be able to see them and how happy they were! emoticon

Well..I need to get back to work for another hr or so. Then home. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Hey! I assume Chuck's surgery all went well? And who in the world is Tucker? I haven't heard of him before. Hugs, Calen~
