Xmas Day is for zombies

Only three more hours and I can say that I made it through the longest Xmas ever. Although I didn't try to discover this, I noticed that only three places were open today: Starbucks, the Texaco gas station (well, the convenience store part of it) and Safeway. I'm not one to deviate from routine, so I wanted to take Rocky to the park. On the way there, I noticed that Safeway was open and inside said establishment, there's a Starbucks. I just wanted a coffee since it was uber cold. Sure, sure, the store was open but the computers were offline. Nothing says Luddites like having to get a number, walk over to some other cash register, and then explain to the checker what the number on a tiny slip of paper meant. Got my coffee and I escaped.
Not sure if I'd count the walk as a workout of any ilk. I think the gym is open tomorrow and I've been lounging around for the past couple of days. I seriously need to kick up the exercise. I do at least a mile on the treadmill, so maybe I can try and do 20 minutes. 1.5 miles? The weather sucks balls. Overcast, cold, depressing, gray, etc. Good thing I have a ton of '80s music (Smiths, The Cure, etc.) to set the mood. I'd play happy bouncy music but I'd be afraid of exploding in a poof of smoke.
It really bites that shows go off the air during the holidays. How am I to discover what happened to Agent Coulson or Ichabod Crane? Duh.
