A few years ago my family except for DH got the flu. Even though we had all gotten flu shots. My son's started it and everything was ok until Christmas Eve when I was in my daughter's bedroom and started throwing up. I had to hurry up and grab a bag because I couldn't make it to the bathroom. We had planned on going to my sister's on Christmas Day, so there wasn't very much food in the house. I can't remember what my family ate Christmas Day, but it wasn't very good. This was what was going through my mind when DD was in the hospital. Thankfully, she did not need any surgery. Merry Christmas and so glad everyone is healthy again.

I went and got the Flu shot in October and brought my son to get his this month. I've been reading and hearing that this year's Flu season was going to be a bad one. I tried to get my 18 year old daughter to go and get one but now that she's 18 she can make her own decisions. I just hope that her decision doesn't come back to bite her in the behind.

emoticon She does eat her fill of eggs so that supposedly can help seeing that most or all of the Flu vaccine is made from eggs.

emoticon Have a very Merry Christmas
