Today would have been my Nanny's 91st birthday. This is our first Christmas without her, and I'm sure missing her today.

We lost another family member this year. Even though our family is growing, I t feels like our family is shrinking because those we are losing have such big places in our hearts.

You were Blessed to have her so long :)
Be sure and give those Grands and Great Grands big hugs and tell them how much you appreciate being with them.
Sometimes they feel like a fifth wheel. Saddens me to hear that sometimes. I would give anything to have my Mom here.
MERRY CHRISTMAS :)

I remember how difficult it was each holiday after my mother and father died. Very hard but wonderful memories.

I hope you remember the wonderful memories you shared with your grandmother. What a nice picture.

I'm thinking that she must have been special to you and while I know there's that emptiness - I'm so thankful that she was that special person for you. What's your best memory of her?

    So sorry for your loss.

I myself have lost my Grandma at the end of August. She would have been 96 years old. My first Christmas without her.

I hope that the memories of your Nanny bring some joy in your heart.

Merry Christmas.

Last year was my first year without my mom she passed when she was 89 yrs old, it's tough and still this year is tough. Just know you now have your personal guardian angel watching over you and although you might not physically be with her now she's always with you and watching over you.
So light a candle for her soul, bring flowers to her grave, cry and get it all out and know that she's watching over you and wants you to have a nice Christmas!
Happy 91 st Birthday Nanny up in heaven! emoticon and for you some emoticon
