More rain...

Sunday, December 22, 2013

It rained most of the day. I was walking by the creek tonight and it is very high. Scary high.

Went to see The Hobbit with a friend tonight. It was okay... pretty long though. I feel bad crating Cooper for hours like that. He is awful happy to see me when I get home. We went for a brisk walk after I let him out. He wanted to RUN!!

Going to my parents' house tomorrow to bake cookies with mom. I don't know what kinds yet, but I am taking my chocolate chips. We were supposed to go to a friend's house to bake bread. but the friend's basement got flooded, so they will be spending the day cleaning up from that.

Normally I have all my presents wrapped long before this, but this year I am running behind, and haven't wrapped anything yet. I guess I will be doing that tomorrow night. Not in my nature to cut it that close, but for some reason this year I am not feeling very festive... or organized.

Wrapping gifts always takes longer than I think it will. Good luck.

glad to know I'm not the only one who is late getting at the wrapping. I have to still pick up a few items on my way home from work this morning. Have fun baking
