Does this end with Christmas?

Sunday, December 22, 2013

thanking all my friends for their support and encouragement...

I did have a walk with Leslie tonite, only 1 mile, but then I did her short Pilates too... Have I ever weakened from when I was doing all my summer walking.....

Church cancelled due to freezing rain this am... snowplow filled us in again.... so dh shoveled for nothing yesterday as we didn't go anywhere....

Today I am thankful that I was able to stay indoors and not have to travel on dangerous roads. I am also thankful that I have Leslie Sansone DVD's and that I did one this evening. I am thankful I don't live in Toronto where they got such a horrible ice storm.

I was asked to be backup in case my niece gets called to help shovel and can't be home to cook Christmas dinner... dh thinks I am being taken advantage of... that's what happens when an only child with no family can't understand what being part of a family and participating is.

I have an only child dh who thinks the world revolves around him. We could ship yours down there and let them be miserable. Better yet - sell both houses, but one where we like it, and let them figure it out themselves.

freezing rain is the worst, the temps are falling here, but I don't think we're supposed to get anything more.. It's good to be needed and a part of one's family, and I'm glad they can count on you! emoticon

Sorry you are still snowed in. I know it is hard to be stuck indoors but maybe if you can view it as gift to enjoy your nest and get yourself into a new pattern...everything has a season and sometimes our patterns just get changed due to circuumstance.

Hang in there, I think that pitching in makes you a valued member of the family!

Stay warm...I did some marching in place today too! emoticon

sorry your snow plow driver covered in the driveway again.

Our snow is gone now, as the rains came and washed it all away.

I am in an optimistic mood today...the days are going to start getting longer once again, though I know the worst of winter is not done yet

Stay warm, and keep up with leslie!
