Feeling so much better!

Sunday, December 22, 2013

The new antibiotics seem to be working! The swelling over all seems to be decreasing and I'm taking fewer pain pills! I still can't really exercise yet but I'm hoping to very soon. It's crazy to think I've been dealing with this since November 26th. I won't be done with my antibiotics till Jan 7th but I'm hoping to feel a LOT better sooner than that. I'm finally feeling hopeful and optimistic that this infection and pain will actually go away without having to see a specialist. emoticon I just want to thank everyone for their continued support throughout all this! It has really kept my spirits ups emoticon emoticon emoticon

I happened upon your blog and a familiar situation. Ouch!!! I used to have breast infections occasionally during my years of breastfeeding. Are you permitted to use warm moist compresses? The theory is that the warmth brings more blood to the tissues to help sweep away the bacterial infection and speed the work of the antibiotics. Take it easy on anything that uses the muscles on that side until you are sure you are healed. It's likely that soon this will be a dim memory, and you won't even have to think about favoring that side. Best wishes for healing quickly!
