This journey I am on is on-going. Everything I do from when I wake up in the morning until I turn my light off at night is with the intention of improving or maintaining good health.
I start my morning by reading positive intentions before I get out of bed. I have hot water with lemon after I get to the kitchen. I take vitamins (in spite of the statements in the paper this week). I make sure to get some form of exercise sometime during the day, preferably early. I know I am responsible for what I eat and what I choose not to eat.
One of the things that needs improvement is my water-drinking. I am nowhere near the recommended amount. I am, however, working on getting more. Perhaps I don't need 8 cups every day.
I like to read motivational articles and success stories. When negative thoughts try to sneak in, I find ways to sweep them out.
I am grateful for Spark People and the supportive friends I have. No one of us is or ever will reach perfection but I can work toward being the best that I can be. I am a work in progress.
