I burned a whole apple pie!

Saturday, December 21, 2013

I fell asleep and woke up too late to save the pie. Hubby was in the house, too but I guess he did not smell it....

Such a shame. I ruined a loaf of bread the other day-forgot the egg.

Sorry about the pie, Chris. I have never burned one, BUT, I did get the cinnamon mixed up with chili powder once. Jim has not eaten apple pie since!
Hugs,
Karen

All my pies look like that & much worse sometimes! We've had to eat the middle out of them & toss the black crust! LOL!

Love the baby picture! I am so sorry about the pie (I would eat it anyway, lol)! I found that if you make cookies on dark nonstick pans, the bottoms tend to burn. I bought some high quality "silver" cookie sheets, lined with parchment paper, and no burnt cookies. There is something about those dark cookie sheets that cause cookies to burn! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

emoticon I know how you feel. My mom asked for some cookies. I made some the night before last and burned the bottoms. I tried again yesterday morning and burned half of the cookies. I think I'm going to use this as an excuse to get a new stove.... yeah, like that's going to happen soon!

  Ugh! I can identify!

I burned some vegetables in the microwave. I cleaned up as well as I could, but there's still a smell in the microwave.

Yuck!
