Moved house, SO much to do before Cub arrives!

Friday, December 20, 2013

OK, so I'm now 32 weeks pregnant!

We have announced we are having a girl!!

She is pretty active, though midwife currently suspects she is head up, so I have to have a scan after christmas to see if she flips!

House is CHAOS.

We couldn't get anybody to fit boiler/radiators before Christmas, so we are *insert expletive* cold... and we cannot unpack anything upstairs as all the floors have to come up. Living out of boxes, wearing layers of clothes that don't actually fit is pretty uncomfy.

I have a trapped nerve in my spine due to pregnancy, its causing a lot of issues in my left leg, it feels like I have a horrific burn, and I cannot stand for any length of time at all. Seen physiotherapist and its all hopeful it will go away after Cub is born.

Will be back next year to loose, what unfortunately has not been an insignificant weight gain, I have a lot to... um, not catch up, but leave behind again. I am totally healthy with my pregnancy, no gestational diabetes or anything, no blood pressure problems, but have gained a fair bit.

Hope your Christmas was a bit warmer and you find some friends to help you nest and unpack boxes over the next few weeks.
I had the same pinched nerve thing on my left side during my pregnancy. I swore baby girl just sat on that nerve and didn't budge. Which wasn't true of course, but it all resolved after the pregnancy.
    Take care and be well.

I so wish I had known about your CH predicament, as our house is in the middle of renovations and I know our guy could have done it. In fact, if you're still where you are, he still probably could do something for you as he's still working. Send me a sparkmessage if you want his number - he's excellent and quite local to you too!!

Hi, It is good to hear from you. I have been wondering how things are going and now I am all caught up. It sounds as though the pregnancy is going well, except for the nerve. I am sorry to hear of that. I am thrilled that you are going to have a beautiful little girl. Things will get settled in your home soon. I hope it is warmer where you are than here in the States. Merry Christmas Pookie! emoticon

Oy! So much to fuss with and so much discomfort! (In my case I was hugely pregnant in the late summer and wishing it was colder out - you just can't win).

So very nice to hear from you and that all is going mostly well! Can't wait for those pictures in just a few more weeks!
