I've had success getting back to maintenance range in the last 2 months. I lost 7 pounds in 6 weeks and have just 1 more pound to get back to goal weight. I've also dropped some body fat and am below 22%. It's been about 6 months since I've been in this good a place in terms of weight. I need to do some work on the body fat though.
I did 2 rounds of boot camp and feel like the second round was a little much for my body. I'm hoping to start alternating - one round of boot camp off and one round of boot camp on, working with my trainer when I'm not doing boot camp. I'm ready to start lifting heavy again, in hopes of putting on some muscle and dropping some fat.
My sleep is getting better. I wish I could say that I decided to make it a priority but I think it's more that my body decided for me. Even if I try to stay up to supervise my son's late night homework, I fall asleep. My body just plain needs that sleep and is taking it. And, aside from one big screw up of a weekend, my son seems to be doing well with less supervision. This is a very good thing.
Today is the last day of school. I'm really looking forward to 4 days together with the kids before Christmas. Preparation is my favorite part of Christmas and usually they have to be in school. I'm hoping they'll do some Christmas baking with me :-) We're having Christmas guests for the first time since 2009 and I'm very excited about that too. Should be a nice 2 weeks :-)
