Well THAT was a huge effing wake up call!

Friday, December 20, 2013

212.
I now weigh 212.
My highest weight ever was 210.
Now I weigh 212.
I am so upset that I am in panic mode.
Here is my Panic Plan of Action!
1) No more Gluten Free, it's a scam. Unless you have celiac disease or some other actual allergy, it's a scam. I'm done with it.
2) Clean Eating. Period. When my doctor wants to see what I've been eating, I am going to show them my food journal and it's going to be nothing but clean eating. So I can then go "HA! I TOLD YOU SO! NOW FIX ME!"
3) exercise! I don't know what yet. but clearly I need to start doing more exercise that before. (I belly dance 3 nights a week. I guess that isn't enough anymore).

Okay, that's it for now. IDK what else I can do or say. I am just really really in a state of shock and sadness and anger.

Start off eating clean....eat as many veggies as you want, find different ways of cooking new ones. Do your shopping around the perimeter of the grocery store....don't buy anything down the aisles. Don't eat anything that has more than 3 ingredients.

Cut down the carbs and cook up some good proteins (fish, chicken, etc) and have it with as many veggies as you want.

Repeat day after day

I do agree that weight loss is only about 10% exercise. But i need it for my health and well being. I always feel better when I am getting exercise. And I really love to do it! I've just been in a "I'm too effing busy!" schlump.
Thanks for your comments.

Hmmm, exercise is good for health but not weight loss. I've tried every fad diet known to the human race. I always come back to counting calories. I measure everything that goes in my mouth, calculate the calories and write it down in the SP nutrition tracker. Like you, I went to my doctor on August 9 and she gave me the same challenge. I went back on Nov 12 and presented my 96 day journal ... every day ... and I did it! Today is Day #134. It's the only plan that really works and that our doctors will really believe. All the rest of the activity is fluff. Good luck as you go back to the basic plan. You are on the right track. Keep it up.
