Finding Exercise Options When In Pain

Today, for no real reason I woke up again in awful physical pain. Mostly my left ankle and heel due to an inoperable bone spur, and my lower back and between shoulder blades very sore due to several bad car accidents I was in years ago. I swear I am falling apart sometimes!
It's cold here and I think that has a lot to do with it. I went out and ran some errands on Wednesday and perhaps it was more than my body was willing to put up with. 2 hours of Christmas shopping on my feet and trudging around in the slushy parking lots probably not a good idea.
Tonite, I am still hurting but determined to find some ways to exercise that don't cause me more pain like this. Looking at some stationary bikes with magnetic resistence (yeah they are on sale at Walmart!) and also a no-impact glider thing (had one before loved it) as 2 possible options.
My husband and I are moving to a larger apartment directly above the one we live in now in about 3-4 weeks, and the extra room will serve as an office/guest room/home exercise space. I'm hoping this gets me motivated again.

On Friday, my husband and I are checking out a gym together and deciding if it meets our needs - as we both need to get out there and exercise badly. Will report back on our experience soon!
