Today's Elf for Health Challenge is talk about your three favorite food groups.
1. Protein-essential for building and repairing muscles. After those tough workouts, I love protein pancakes (made with Plant Fusion protein powder) or chicken...depending on the time of day:)
2. Veggies-filling at least 1/2 my plate is typical. I eat salads for lunch every day and change it up for dinner. Tonight 1/2 a butternut squash.
3. Fruit-I love fruit. I snack on it throughout the day, always have some at breakfast, and love changing it up for smoothies. Current favs: apples, pears, and frozen cherries in smoothies.
