One week in

So..I've lost 12lbs since Thanksgiving...and this past week has been the first week that I've really taken this somewhat seriously. I've cheated a few times, but Hey...I'm proud of the changes I've made. For my birthday I got myself a 10 lb weight and have been exercising with it! My cousin got me a Single serving blender and I'm very excited to use it.

I'm so serious and determined right now, I've got my dad intrigued and ready to start making the little changes I've been making. I said I'd be happy to cook for him as well, but I'm not going to let him deter my success. I've tried losing weight his way my whole life, and it's never worked. I've lost 50lbs since I've been in control of my own groceries and...He's silly if he thinks I'm going back to his ways.

Next week will be an awesome week. I'll have more of a grocery budget and a better idea of what to have for meals. Every bite of Kale is a bite in the right direction in my humble opinion! ;]

Keep it goin' girl! You got this. Don't let something like enjoying some Green chili sour cream dip with your multigrain crackers discourage you. It's okay to say yes sometimes!
