And I am walking... and walking some more

One good thing about the Spark activity tracker is that I can see on a chart how much activity I have done in any given hour. So, my new challenge to myself is to do something every hour I am awake. Might not be much, but it beats sitting like a lump for an hour or two at a time. I find once I get going that go for longer than I intended. Whether it is taking the dog for a walk or pacing laps in my apartment I tell myself "Just 10 minutes"... but then it ends up being 30 or 40 minutes. I have walked about 3 hours so far today, and I don't think I am done. Lotsa miles adding up.

I am taking the rest of the cookies I baked to my parents' house tomorrow. My dad likes cookies. I baked molasses cookies, which also happen to be one of mom's favorites. I like baking, but then I have all these cookies or brownies to get rid of, and I don't want to eat them all.

My neighbor told me to stop losing weight, when I stopped to chat with her today. I explained I had actually gained a few pounds and she looked skeptical. She is a fairly hefty woman, so maybe she is comparing herself to me or something. I don't know what her issue is, but sometimes it is difficult to be polite.

The inspection went well today... as far as I know. I didn't hear the building manager yelling, so I am guessing we passed.

    They told me I was fading away to nothing today at the dentist (in my dreams LOL!) so I am familiar with the backhanded compliment .Sometimes people are just shocked that you have lost so much more than they have !!!!!
