Little bits add up

I took Cooper for a good long walk this morning, but other than that I have been doing 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there for the most part. I paced laps while waiting for my cookies to bake, while waiting for the washer and dryer to finish, and while waiting for dinner to cook. So far it has added up to 225 minutes of exercise... and I am not quite done for the day. I haven't set any records for mileage or speed, but I have kept moving for most of the day. The Spark activity tracker only tracks if you do at least 10 minutes of continuous exercise, so some of my pacing doesn't count as tracked exercise, as I had to stop and pull cookies out of the oven among other things. (Didn't want to burn them!)
We were supposed to have a building inspection during the time the government shutdown happened, so it got postponed... until tomorrow. The inspector is supposed to arrive at 9am. They don't inspect every apartment, but I kind of expect mine will be one of the ones they do inspect, since it hasn't been for 3 years. I just hope I am up and about before they knock on my door. Maybe I can time it so that I am out walking the dog while they inspect my apartment.
Building management gives all the tenants a small Christmas present each year. This year it was a box of Russell Stover Milk Chocolates. I am rewrapping them and regifting them. I don't need the temptation, and milk chocolate is not my favorite, If I am going to eat chocolate then I want good quality dark chocolate.
