MY HUMP DAY HALF OVER...OFF TO WW AND LUNCH WITH A FRIEND

Tuesday, December 17, 2013

I can't believe that my Wednesday is already half over.....
Am off to my ww meeting and then lunch with a friend to celebrate both our birthdays then hopefully will achieve a little more on the Christmas shopping front....I am hoping by the time I get home tonight I will have achieved the majority of it and will just have some little bits to tidy up.....

It really doesn't seem at all like christmas....don't know why...even with what we have been doing at church leading up to i8t still doesn't seem like it at all....maybe it is just me or maybe it has become toooo comercialized that most people have lost sight of the Reason for the Season....
I know I was horrified when the christmas stuff was in the shops in October.....UGH....

Anyways thats a little rant from me for today...
Am off to continue a great day...
Later my friends....

I hope you had a good birthday lunch with your friend! I too have the bulk of my Christmas shopping done but you always have those little things to pick up. I am going to brave the toy store this evening, lol. Yesterday I went to a drugstore and it was packed. I thought there might have been some mysterious sale, but it was just that time of the year.

I totally agree! Commercialism has taken the spirit out of the holidays for me too! emoticon Let's try to hold on to the reason for the season, as you said! emoticon emoticon
