Showing love today to my core. Is my core as strong as I would like? No. Does my stomach have a 6-pack? No. Iím not sure even when I am at my goal weight I will have 6-pack. What I am sure of is that I am becoming better with each step that I take. I am not at my goal weight. In fact, Iím not really close to it, but each day that I continue to plan my meals and track what I eat, I am making progress. Each day is definitely not perfect. Pilates is offered at my gym a couple of days per week so I am thinking of trying that so that I can work a little more on my core. Hereís what I know undoubtedly, I wonít ever have 6-pack abs or lose the weight around my middle if I donít do something about it.
I realized today that I am really feeling pretty good about my choices of late. I can say that they are not perfect. Every now and again, I do have part of a Dr Pepper (generally not a full can or bottle). I do have a piece of candy when I need a sweet fix, but itís only 1 piece, not the whole bag. I am enjoying fruits and veggies. I am really trying to make sure I have at least one for each meal/snack. Does it always happen, no, but it is happening more consistently than not and that is a positive step. :-)
