I'm headed up to Olympia tomorrow for an early Xmas with my family (both my sister and I have to work on Christmas - she's in health care and I'm in travel). My main challenge is not to overindulge, of course. Equal time will be my guideline: healthy calories for goodies. Also, rather than constant caloric consumption, I'll think in terms of treats. I don't need to eat an entire 900 calorie giant Special bar when a few pieces will do - or better yet, share it around the room!
