Today my fiancée celebrated 55 years young today! We both had to work, so yesterday I took him to see that new Hobbit movie and to one of his favorite restaurant-Texas Roadhouse. He was pleased as punch. He gets into that Tolkien book and has been looking forward to this new movie for quite some time. I, on the other hand, was not expecting the movie to be three hours long and we went to the 3D IMAX theatre and some things weren't good for my vertigo. I am not a particular fan of this genre, but I made it all about Louis, his day.
I had a light bulb moment about my 21 Day fast, which is ending soon, along with my modified Daniel fast. I went into this for the Christmas season to start off eating healthier and getting on the fast track to being leaner. I went to my WW meeting on Sunday and found I haven't lost any real significant weight. I am down inches though and my clothes fit looser. The light bulb moment for me was that in order to lose weight, I have to eat the right portions and I need to start my day, every day with breakfast. I need fuel to burn, cut back on my carbs and more lean protein, more fruits, more veggies. Skipping meals, going into starvation mode, eating popcorn and pasta is not a winning plan, henceforth no weight loss. My new goal is to eat more and more of the power foods, cut back on the high fat carbs, drink my water more and begin C25k training again. Now is the time!
