Okay, so I have to revise the goal. As I said, I only ever lost any weight when I quit making graphs and weighing myself weekly. In fact, the weight loss itself isn't such a good goal. My job is my actions. I'm in 12-Step. On any given day I have one job: be abstinent. I do that by working my program and that includes taking action. But it's the actions that are my responsibility, not the weight loss. (Ya see the things you learn from your sponsor?)
So I hereby jettison the pound-a-week goal. When my birthday rolls around I'll weigh whatever I weigh.
I'm still doing my little countdown but I have new goals. I'll keep it simple, natch! (1) Write in here daily. (2) Log 6K steps per week on the Fitbit. Including this week! Which means I better hustle. I did nuttn yesterday. (3) Log my food daily, on here. (4) Work my program with more diligence. (I know what this means.)
Gawd, what have I done.
Okay, I better hit it.
