Monday' Doc appt.

Monday, December 16, 2013

I always go there expecting no good news. IT saves me from being disappointed. Today I had lost five pounds, BUT i also shrank 1/2inch. My Triglycerides were up some, but my BS was 107. My total cholesterol was slightly up..

Doctor was very pleased, hugged me for good results and weight loss. I know I will lose more, but not fast enough.
The severe debilitating pain I have been having for the past six months in my groin has been diagnosed.

It is my lateral femoral cutaneous nerve pressing on the ligament on my pelvic bone. I have never heard of this but he assured me it is common. I am relieved that it is not a blood clot as I suspected for awhile...
There is no cure, no treatment, but I told him it is still not as painful as the fibro.

I am glad I am not much worse than my last visit, but will have to learn to live with the pain of that nerve for the rest of my life. What's one more pain anyway?? LOL!

You may have the pain go away. You never know. As you lose weight and your body changes you may find you are standing, sitting and walking differently. You never know! Praying for healing!
