I lost another 2.2 lbs. this week. In two weeks that makes 6.2 lbs.
Most importantly, I have exercised for 2 straight weeks and increased my water intake. And I've been sleeping better all which have considerably improved my attitude. I FEEL WONDERFUL!
Going into week 3 I have set some new goals for myself and ironically they do not include a weight loss goal. Why? Well even though I haven't put pressure on myself this time around, I have come to realize that my journey is not just about weight loss this time. Its about healthier living and not just for me but my children and granddaughter too.
My goals this week are:
1) measure and log the food I eat. I will try to stick to a 1,200 calorie per day diet. This means I will have to watch/limit my calorie intake at work since I can't measure there and I can't bring in my own food. I think I will eat a larger breakfast and then take a snack to work so I wont be hungry during lunchtime.
2) drink 80 oz. of water daily. I will start the day off with 16oz. before breakfast.
3) continue to exercise daily besides the 4 weekly walking days as I begin my training regimen for the 5k.
I think these goals SMART. I can do this. Week 3 here I come!!!!
