Second "dam" weigh-in with no change this morning, although my scale is being passive-aggressive. When I cheated during the week it showed I'd lost the intended pound, but now that I 'm on record, it put it back. Thanks a heap.
I'm getting a tape measure today - that should confirm my suspicion that my waistline is already slimming. As to retaining water, that was just a joke - I have no idea. But I do think muscle mass is part of it. I also have to bear in mind that I'm fighting a med notorious for weight gain. Even holding my own is an accomplishment.
My energy level is up markedly. This is also due to a multivitamin, reduced job stress and improved sleep - things are looking up!
I'm hanging in there that the scale will eventually show the dang results of all my hard work. I guess it's possible I'm underestimating calories, but I really don't want to start tracking every "dam" calorie I eat. There has to be a better way!
