Ongoing battle of the buldge!

Friday, December 13, 2013

Sometimes I think I should just accept that I'm 60+ and prone to hold onto pounds like never before! I remember a time in my 30's and 40's when I could eat whatever I wanted and didn't gain a pound. Not so today! If I LOOK at food, it seems I gain weight. I think the times I gain the most is when I just give up on paying attention to what goes into my mouth. We always eat pretty healthy at home, but we often eat out and I actually know that is not a good thing. OK, so can I say that I'm determined one more time? I really am... I guess I'll just keep plugging. I just don't want what I eat to 'rule' my life. I don't want to always have to think about it.

I understand completely! Lets do this. I vow to lose after Christmas. No sense in starting now with all the parties ahead.

Unfortunately we do always have to think about what we're putting in our mouth, we have to make that decision everyday that we want a healthier version of ourselves.
But sometimes if we do it enough it becomes routine a good habit and then we don't really have to think as much.
The best tool is tracking , tracking, tracking it really shows you omg that so wasn't worth the amount of calories from something, it teaches us to make better choices and to eat in moderation.
We can still eat a lot if we're having healthy veggies and fruits god there's hardly any calories in them, just choose to believe in YOU and be a healthier version.
