January 1 does not offer a magical jumpstart for anything we REALLY want.
It comes right down to what we want.
Do we want to reach our goals or do we want another discouraging setback?
Is another bite of that tasty morsel of (insert food of choice here) really worth it?
What's more important?
Don't get me wrong, staying on plan does not have to ruin the holidays.
Just be honest and pay attention.
Watch the portion sizes.
Choose the lighter, healthier menu options.
If the choice is made to over-indulge, don't beat yourself up.
Get over it and get back on plan.
Drink more water.
MOVE IT!!! Then MOVE it some more.
Take care of yourself.
Let's be proud of ourselves and be right where we want to be when the new year rings in.
