One step back two steps forward

Thursday, December 12, 2013

The key is not to let guilt cause me to quit trying. An all or nothing approach is my usual response.
Exercise for 5 days straight, miss a day and then no exercise for a month is typical until now.

If I take a step back:
I am going to take a walk or do a 10 minute exercise right away.
I am going to make a healthy recipe.
I am going to write in my journal or blog.

Here is the plan! Next time I feel guilt or that I am going backwards I will take these positive steps. emoticon

If you get discouraged, remember when you didn't take any steps forward, and you will realize that you are still making progress.
