today is day 3 of my first full week of a run. As I have mentioned before consistency is not my strong suit and I really really wanted to finish a full week of running. Six days in a ROW. I have been "running/walking" now for ...um 3 years? and still hadn't left week one of C25 or Spark rookie running, let alone actually do a full week. LOL Well, the first year I made it to week 4 then....
I woke up this morning and it felt as if my right breast was on fire.
Assuming I had tore it in my sleep I disregarded until I sat down. OMGosh OW It was a sharp pain that went into my back .. Went away, came back. Worse when I sat. Researched and it matched torn muscles from working out. "cool" ...
So I got up and took an Aleve and coffee.
After Sparking for a bit, I went for a run.
Now my chest feels 80% better but my shins and left knee are on fire.
this "getting old" sh!te is for the birds.
Going to clean, ice, and run again tomorrow. I will finish this dang it. Girls and I wantt o do a Princess Run in Disneyland. It's in February this year. there's NO WAY I can train that fast so will plan on next years. HOWEVER that's our goal.
Mom bragging for a minute, okay?
Youngest will be back in competitive cheer. Who's more excited mommy or daughter? LOL
Oldest will be done with her "last" class of the semester today. In January she begins her internship for teaching and the only classes left are "fluff" for unit requirements. I'm so proud of her...we are looking at buying her a car for a) graduating and b) her new job.
My Kate applied for and got first chair in College Honor band (she's 16) so I was very proud of that concert. She played with adults and "rocked" it.
that's it for now. Gots to clean, launder, start dinner for fam bam, paperwork for licensing Humdinger BBQ, and go to girls' band concert tonight. The usual stuff.
I might start my Slim Series DVD tonight....or finish Jillian. Probably the latter, then maybe my shins will feel better before tomorrow's run.
