It is probably just water weight. I used to weight myself every day but I eventually had to stop because all it did was bring me down. Now I do it about twice a month, and it is much easier to stay motivated when I am looking at other ways to measure progress. For example- in a month I've lost 1lb on the scale. But I went officially to a size 12 from a 14 in that month, too. So even if the scale did not show a true loss, I know I got smaller.
