Yesterday was a rest day (no test) and that was good. I mentioned to hubby that I've lost 17 pounds over these last five weeks since I started the anti-inflammatory eating and he found that interesting. "Huh," he says. Nothing more, but he did find it interesting. As of this morning, I'm down another 1.5 lbs, so that's 18 now!
Today is another bread test-bagels today. I got Thomas' plain boring white bagels. I was appalled to see that Lender's bagels have high fructose corn syrup in them. Seriously? I hate that stuff. So I checked Thomas and they were fine. No known trigger foods in the ingredients. I had it with butter, per Lyn-Genet's instructions. Lunch today is leftover roasted veggies with a rye cracker and raw almond butter. Easy!
Dinner I believe is going to be chicken (shocker!) until I can test another protein or retest pork in a smaller portion. Add mixed green salad and sauteed zucchini with manchego cheese. Should be easy, but I have to get it in EARLY. This is another crazy day where I have to be back at the school at 5:30pm for a PTA function. I am so SICK of these! I have to leave that early and go to church for play practice, this time with my youngest son so he can practice his part, too. I think I'll take my dinner with me to the PTA event. It's a pizza fundraiser, so I can eat my food while the family is eating the pizza. I can't see anyone objecting to that.
