Hope all goes well with doc appointments tomorrow

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

So I have my Rhuematologist appointment at 8:45 am and then the GP at 9:30 am. Glad they are in the same building and same floor. I hope all goes well and they don't find anything else wrong with me. lol
Jeff and I had our teeth cleaned yesterday at the dentist. Always fun when that cold water hits you gums. Hoo baby! Our dentist does not have a water warmer, since most times here it isn't that cold. Well with our weather having been in the low 30's at night, that water was making me jump out of my skin. He ended up doing the scraping manually instead of the water machine.
I have to take 2000 mg of antibiotics 1 hour b/4 I have any dental work done. Worse thing is my stomach goes into overdrive afterwards. I didn't get any exercise in yesterday but made many visits to the toilet. TMI, I know.

Went to the gym today. Has been a long time and felt pretty good, did both the elliptical 50 min. and cool down walk on the treadmill 30 min. My ST didn't really get the miles correct by a long shot, even using the calibrations. Had to change it to walking to get the correct miles.

Jeff is out of town for the night and Frank goes off to work at 10:45 pm. Will have my crazy dog Phred to warn of any dangers. Ha He barks at everything, at least he is a good alarm dog.

Hoping all goes (went?) well too! Seems awfully cold for CA! Speaking of barking dogs.... My girl has barked all day long and come to find out there was a package on the front porch that apparently she viewed as dangerous! Snuggle up!

Sometimes the dogs can "warn" you so much, you don't pay attention to them if the real need happens. That's what happens with our dogs! They love to let us know every sound they hear!!
Hope all went well at the Dr. appts. I have to get to a dentist to have a tooth pulled. Will hopefully find the time after the craziness of the Christmas season!! Take care!!

Wishing you well on your appointments! How lucky they are in the same building!! I too have to take antibiotics like that before a dental cleaning. Had quite the ongoing row with my specialist about it. I simply don't get infections and think its a waste of time. Nothing dire happened when I forgot to take them once.
Way to go getting in the gym!
ST shouldn't get miles, its not cardio unless its part of a circuit. Its static exercise that doesn't get your HR up unless you are power lifting massive weights..
Hope you get more normal weather soon! It seems like everyone is having below normal temperatures!!
Sleep well, Phred Is on the job!!

Good luck at the doctor's offices tomorrow! You know, I couldn't make my appointments that close together, I always end up waiting WAY past my appointment times! Doesn't seem to matter which doctor I see.

Sorry about the dentist! Good that you got your teeth cleaned but it is hard on your system, I understand!

Glad that you got to go to the gym and get some time in on the machines. I'll bet it was a good feeling afterwards! Be safe, glad that Phred the guard dog is with you! We are beginning to warm up a bit here, are you? emoticon

Fingers crossed for good medical reports! Hope you don't have any surprises.

Ooh the dentist... let's not go there...

Great exercises. All I could do today was sit in the hot tub. My knees are giving me fits.

    Safe night, sleep well.
