Not feeling so well today

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Not feeling so well today so having to take time out. Dislike when I get hit this way so thinking some about what I need to do for optimum health. It has been hard lately to stick to the program every day doing those things I know are needed. Then my doc really feels I need to juice to get in lots of fruits and vegetables (more than normal). The kefir I drink daily already concerns me about the added calories. Juicing would definitely increase daily calories so I would have to commit again to only eating those things that are really fuel for me. I also struggle because when I don't feel good, I want to turn to comfort foods. But I really don't like feeling like this now so I need to grab hold and figure out as well as do what is needed.

I know just how you feel. My aching shoulder makes me want to eat cookies. Stay strong!

I hope you are feeling better. It is hard adding more fruit and vegetables. Good luck and hope you can figure it out.

I would agree with the doctor! Comfort foods are good, but feeding your body is needed when you are sick. I think the cold and darkness of winter makes one want to eat more. I know I've had an increase in appetite. So far I've maintained well, but it's a challenge.

Hang in there and drink your juice! I hope you feel better soon! emoticon

I can so understand you. Living healthy life style could be very tough. When you are going thru stress issue and life event. I too also Turing to comfort foods. Those comfort foods are normally hi in fat, sugar and calories. I do need to re commit my health regiment. If you are looking for some program for your health and weight control. I will recommend. Dr. Joe Fuhrman's " Eat to Live" program. Many people has overcome sickness and regain health and lost weights. Good luck to both of us.
