Weigh in day 12/11/13 174.4 (+1.8)
3 weeks ago, I asked DS26 to hide the scale from me, because I was getting too stressed over the numbers. During this time, I continued with my good eating & exercise habits, as well as working to get over my obsessive thinking ongoing. But I was still afraid of finding a big gain when I stepped on the scale.
On the other hand, during these 3 weeks, including Thanksgiving vacation. I ate Thanksgiving feast, and fast food when driving back and forth from Illinois to New Jersey. And I'm not as active because my knee has been bothering me since my birthday Nov. 6. Well, really I got my diagnosis of arthritis Feb. 2011.
So I jumped on the scale this morning. Well, I carefully stepped on it. I was expecting to be up 5 pounds, based on the look of my pouch. And I was so happy that it was only up 1.8 pounds.
There's 3 weeks left to the year. Are you going to sit on the bench until New Year's resolutions come along or are you going to take action? Action like exercising daily, eating right most of the time, and giving up perfectionism. Let's be real, December is tough, but it doesn't have to be game over until Jan. I'm guessing that if you're reading this blog, you're showing up, putting your game face on, and chasing a feeling instead of a number on the scale.
