Sights around our village

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Yep, I sure missed things like this. The blue sky and lake. And the horses pulled up at our version of a 7-11.....I didn't get a photo of the "cow jam" I came across on my walk with the dogs yesterday but there were like 10 cows in the street that I had to maneuver through. Oh life in Mexico. I also wish that I had had my camera to take a photo of the man I saw riding a donkey while talking on his cell phone. Too funny. I wonder if it's legal to text and donkey ride?

We went out to see FIL yesterday and at least he wasn't having nausea while we were there. He had just been exercising as well and I was happy to see that. We took him some more comforts from his home. I also went to the organic market yesterday and got him some special honey that I instructed the nurses to give to him daily as it is supposed to help with digestion. I got some for myself as well. We mentioned taking him out to our favorite rib place for lunch one day and he seemed to like that idea.
I feel a bit more positive about things today. But things change from day to day so will see what's up today when we visit.

I do hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.
Make some good decisions.

Love the pictures. It looks like a very lovely place to live. Please send me some info as Hubby and I are considering looking into moving into Mexico. We have some local friends that are also interested. I am glad to see that FIL is rallying some. I think that you and DH can cheer him up and get him on the right track

Your market description is so similar to what we face here. Cattle on the road is a common sight in my city too.....
So happy to learn that your FIL is feeling a lot more cheerful. We older lot just need to know our kids are now that he knows his son & DIL are back I am sure his healing process will be faster..... Just keep motivating him emoticon

The donkey is probably smart enough not to crash into another donkey even if his driver is texting. lol.

It almost sounds like the meds are the problems with him not eating. Keep watching for how he reacts to them. Love the pictures and that would be a sight to see the man on the donkey with the cell phone!

Very cool photos! Yes, that man on his cell while riding a donkey would have been great! I usually always carry my camera on my walks as you never know what you may see. Of course most people carry a cell phone that takes photos so they have no worries, but my camera is rather heavy to carry.
So glad FIL is feeling better! That is great to always be back home to the place you love!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
